Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We know schedules change. If you need to cancel or change a reservation, please do so at least 12 hours before your scheduled start time.

Giving us advance notice allows us to reopen that time for another member and helps ensure our instructors are fairly compensated for the time they reserved for you.

  • Please cancel or make changes through the That’s Sew Austin booking portal or Achieve app whenever possible.

  • You may cancel your reservation according to the terms of your booking or membership.

  • Your reservation is considered a late cancellation and the associated appointment or credit may be forfeited.

  • If you arrive late, your appointment will still end at its originally scheduled time.

    Arrivals 15 minutes or more late may result in a shortened lesson.

    Arrivals 20 minutes or more late may be treated as a no-show.

Sometimes something genuinely unexpected happens and you simply cannot make your appointment or cancel before the 12-hour deadline.

That is what our Emergency Accommodation Request is for.

Emergency accommodations are intended for circumstances outside your control that prevented you from following our normal cancellation policy.

You do not need to share medical records, diagnoses, or private information you are uncomfortable providing. A brief explanation of what happened is enough.

Submit an Emergency Accommodation Request

  • The form may be appropriate when:

    • An unexpected emergency prevented you from canceling in time.

    • The same emergency affected multiple TSA appointments on the same day.

    • You missed the 12-hour cancellation window because of circumstances outside your control.

    • You aren't sure whether your situation qualifies and would like us to review it.

    The form is not intended to replace normal cancellation or rescheduling when you know in advance that you cannot attend.

  • Depending on the circumstances, an approved accommodation may include:

    • Restoration of an eligible appointment or booking credit

    • A rebooking discount

    • Another reasonable accommodation determined by That’s Sew Austin

    Submitting a request does not guarantee that an accommodation will be approved.

    Each situation is reviewed individually.

    Approved emergency accommodations are recorded on your account and may affect eligibility for future emergency accommodations.

  • You do not need to submit multiple forms when the same emergency affected multiple That’s Sew Austin appointments scheduled on the same calendar day.
